Christine Migala is the freelance gardener, a specialist in gardens and landscapes. She combines a Visual Arts background with the Science of Horticulture to provide landscape garden design, garden care, and garden coaching. Christine has a college degree in Visual Communications and has worked in desktop publishing for many years. Encouraged by her love of gardening and being outdoors, Christine decided to put purpose to her passion and pursue an education in Horticulture. In 2008, Christine completed the requirements for a Horticulture Certification in Professional Landscape and Pest & Weed Management, from Gateway Technical College in Kenosha, WI. Good stewardship of our natural resources motivates Christine’s ambition, so she supports and promotes best practices in designing and caring for the garden landscape. Areas of special interest are environmental protection and conservation, encouraging the use of native plants, eradicating invasive plant species, biodiversity, and Integrated Pest Management (IPM). |
